DATGRUVEE: Mario Alcantara-Monteiro, alias DATGRUVEE, is an international UK-based DJ artist and creative hailing from Lisbon and Luanda. Known for his rigorous yet involving and resonant mixing style and aesthetic, DATGRUVEE's musical journey began during his childhood as a choir member and piano student, leading to his first club gigs at age 17. This period led him toward his first summer residencies and regional tours, playing at popular Lisbon venues such as Belém Bar Café, Kamasutra and Waikiki. His creative path would eventually lead him to London, where he performed at venues such as Egg LDN, NTs Loft, Sushisamba and the legendary BBE store. His sets and productions evolve from electronic jazz and soulful to more poignant and percussive nuances that pay tribute to his indigenous African and Mediterranean roots, along with other Latin and Middle Eastern influences, as he seeks to celebrate the world's musical diversity through his own identity. DATGRUVEE has released under US-based Pasqua Records and the Italian Double Records, achieving several charting positions on Traxsource with his EP 'Woman' featuring South African DJ producers Soultronixx and DeeCee and 'Your Love' featuring Kelson, Breyth, and Fukisama. He has also been featured on Rinse FM, Voices Radio, Sydney's Fbi Radio, The Beat 103.6, Passion Ibiza Radio, Lisbon's Radio Oxigénio and Luanda's MixFM. In 2023, DATGRUVEE re-launched his very own global electronic music and art project - ETHNIK Dance Lab, fostering community-building, musical education and diverse grassroots talent. C4LYPSO: C4LYPSO’s journey into music started on the dance floor. Formally trained in classical dance, she translates physical movement directly behind the decks, treating rhythm as a language. Blending hypnotic Afro House with raw Afro-Tech, her sound relies on heavy ancestral drums, subtle tension, and atmospheric vocals to create body-first dancefloor experiences. As the founder of K4LYDESCOPE, C4LYPSO continues to build spaces in London dedicated to showcasing the full, rich spectrum of African electronic sound. J. MÜLLER: South African-born, London-based artist, J. Müller is a visionary creator crafting new worlds through her diverse talents as a singer, DJ, producer, poet, and founder of parth_é & Our Sacred Rhythms. Known for her ability to blend genres and break boundaries, she first gained attention as the lead singer of the pop-funk band Black Forest Ghetto (2010-2014). J. Müller’s musical journey has also included collaborations with the Netherlands-based producer and DJ Philou Louzolo, contributing to two tracks on his album ‘African Gold’ — ‘Legacy’ and ‘Rejoice’ (the latter featuring Cee Elassaad and Eli Fola), which was featured on Black Coffee’s Spotify Track ID’s playlist. Driven by a lifelong passion for music, she felt a deep calling to pursue the world of sound from a young age and earned a BMUS degree in Music from City University in London in 2010. Her sound is a reflection of her deep ancestral roots, blending the rich electronic music influences from South Africa with global traditions, creating a primal, immersive experience. Allowing listeners to reconnect with their true origins, as interconnected beings of light and sound.
