Join us for an evening at The Airliner featuring three distinctive voices in Los Angeles’ vibrant dance music community: Darone Sassounian, Aaron Paar, and SEEPS. Aaron Paar, founder of Worldship Music and one half of the Teflon Dons, has been at the cutting edge of soul rooted dance music for decades. A longtime presence in the LA DJ scene, Paar’s sets draw from deep knowledge of funk, soul, house, disco, and global sounds. He has toured extensively across the U.S. and hosts the acclaimed Stomping Grounds Radio on Dublab. Bronx-born, Los Angeles based SEEPS brings the spirit of New York’s golden era of dance music to every set. Grounded in her Nuyorican heritage, she blends classic NYC sounds, Boricua rhythms, jazz grooves, and underground cuts with an unmistakable sense of nostalgia and energy. A celebrated DJ and radio presence, she has appeared on platforms including NTS, Dublab, The Lot Radio, and Razor-N-Tape, while sharing stages with artists such as Louie Vega, DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, and Osunlade. Darone Sassounian brings a timeless yet forward looking approach to electronic music, seamlessly moving through vintage house, disco, jazz, and rare international selections including Armenian and Middle Eastern funk. As a DJ and producer, with releases on Habibi Funk, Terrestrial Funk, and his own Rocky Hill label, Sassounian draws deeply from his Armenian and SWANA roots to reinterpret musical heritage for contemporary dance floors. Three selectors. Three perspectives. One night of deep grooves, soulful sounds, and unexpected musical journeys at The Airliner.
