**Laura Misch brings her richly textured blend of electronics, acoustic instruments and saxophone to Bristol Beacon. Her music moves between intimate songwriting, evolving rhythms and field recordings, drawing on the natural and urban landscapes around her.** Her latest album, Lithic, explores human experience through the elemental worlds of air, water and stone. Following 2023’s Sample the Sky and its acoustic companion Sample the Earth, the album sees Misch pushing her sound into new physical and atmospheric territory. A multi-disciplinary artist as well as a musician, Misch has created installations, sound walks and site-responsive performances, appearing everywhere from the Barbican and Berghain Kantine to Glastonbury and SXSW.
