Threads: A Guided Journey In Chaos Join us as we celebrate Threads' debut at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Tuesday, November 24th. For its' inaugural party, Threads weaves together a lineup of 4 highly adept DJs from New York and Philadelphia whose deep understanding of music and dedication to their respective scenes unite them. Dance, thrash, and surrender yourself to the entropy of each passing beat… A ravewraith hailing from the DIY lairs of Philadelphia (currently Bounce House), DJ Anarres plays vinyl sets inspired by altered states of consciousness and the Life Spiral. Their radio show on Great Circles, Transilience, "engages the function of rhythm that makes being. Access to the rhythm allows the individual to participate in eternity & ubiquity." Daystar lives within the organized chaos of the groove; letting music and the soul show them the path through the noise. They use production, djing, and their love for music as a vehicle to dive deeper into the self, music history, and connecting with others. They’ve released on labels such as Oklahoma City’s Fixed Rhythms, Bay Area’s Vitamin1k, and Los Angeles’ Gyration Station, alongside many self releases. Brooklyn native DJ Sour brings a sharp, high-energy finesse to the decks, dissolving the spaces between curveball bangers and club classics. Drawing from a vast sonic palette and a deep vault of his own productions, his sets are as heady as they are physical, forever true to his own style. DJ Sour continues to cement his place in Brooklyn’s nightlife as co-founder of the party series BOOM BOOM REVOLUTION and PSYOP. Past accolades include his Friday residency at Rash, creating mixes for Piñata Radio, Club Cringe, Radio Bonita, and more. With a decade of experience DJing, New York based Mercury Vibration mixes records spanning Old School Techno, Midwest Electro, 80s Industrial/EBM, Acid House, and Dub in an effort to move the body and scratch the brain. Since beginning to play out in New York since 2024, they have played out at variety of venues, including but not limited to: Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mansions, Jade Bar, and Hart Bar. Most recently, they made their International Debut in Montreal at Datcha, and on Parking Radio in Quebec City.
