Parties and festivals are built by far more than the artists on stage. They run on passion, pressure, invisible labour and a lot of people making things happen behind the scenes. In an industry where the line between work and passion is often blurred, how do we find our agency and use it to shape the environments we work in when patriarchal structures don't always make space for the values we want to embody? This workshop is about finding agency together. We'll explore how we can take greater responsibility for our own wellbeing and the environments we co-create: recognising & keeping our boundaries, communicating needs, negotiating conditions, making care part of the work, and knowing when to step in or… step away. The workshop will be shaped around the people who join, their experiences, the knowledge and questions they bring. Rather than looking for one-size-fits-all solutions, we'll exchange perspectives and explore where our power lies within the systems we work in. Because we don't just make change by demanding different structures. We make it through practicing different values until they become the norm. Through how we work, what we agree to, what we refuse, and how we show up for ourselves and each other. We'll close with a chance to connect and further empower each other over drinks and music by ZE:NA. 19:00-21:00 Workshop only for FLINTA, 21:00 Music & hangout open to everyone. Facilitated by Kasia Gościńska (N ska).
