Elton Impsworth yearns for old and new friends to come and join him again… Whimsy of an Imp is back for its fourth weekender edition, this time on the coast of East Gippsland, Victoria. This intimate three-day gathering celebrates the sounds and spirit of Australia’s electronic music community. From sunlit disco and dub grooves to high-energy club cuts, to late-night techno and melodic-synth soundscape trips, the soundtrack flows as effortlessly as the water beside us. This year we welcome standout performances from LOIF, Miscmeg, Monfreaq, E-file, Cheahdx, The Land of Rah, Elsie, Tangerine, Cybernet and FDH, as well as live acts from Kate Moth, emjaysoul and ARAMINTA alongside a treasure trove of rising artists from Naarm, Ngunnawal, and Eora. With a focus on community and connection, Whimsy of an Imp is a chance to step away from the big smoke and immerse yourself in the Australiana landscape to let your limbs loose for three full days of eclectic tunes and surrender to the sonic indulgence from the early afternoons into the wee hours of the crisp October sunrise.
