PRECINCT: Keeping Harrogate Underground Forget the algorithms and USB sticks. Sometimes all you need is a couple of turntables, a stack of records and a room full of like-minded music heads. Following a series of increasingly well-supported parties, vinyl-only duo PRECINCT return to Major Tom's for another journey through deep house, tech house, dub techno, acid, electro and minimal. With recent appearances at Newcastle's Lubber Fiend and Manchester's Eastern Bloc, plus a forthcoming vinyl EP on 3am Recordings, things are gathering momentum. Drawing on the underground heritage of 3am Recordings and Dragon Parade, PRECINCT take control from the first record to the last, building the night naturally from warm-up grooves to late-night dancefloor business. Two turntables. Plenty of records. No nonsense.
