On the 2F main floor, rising star and techno queen Akua makes her long-awaited WOMB debut. Also on the lineup is a B2B between myself and the exceptionally talented lostbaggage. What started spontaneously turned out to have far more chemistry than expected, and this time we’re making it official. On 1F, You Forgot, whose eccentric style has made him a vital presence in Tokyo’s underground scene, makes his Reprise debut. Joining him is South African groove master and rising talent Hello Kenny, making her first appearance in Tokyo. On 4F, Bristol’s I-sha makes her Japan debut, carrying forward the city’s free-spirited approach to music and culture as one of its standout local artists. She is joined by elegant, freaky selector Shhhhh, who believes not in genre but in what a sound can do on the dancefloor, and Imus, a curator connecting different musical cultures whose approach balances experimentation with functionality.
