Loose Rave Unit presents Planet Pink, bringing the Berlin-based British-Australian electronic artist Sarah Sommers to Melbourne for a full-throttle night of live hardware, techno, rave and electronic music. Fresh from an explosive run of international performances throughout 2026, Sarah Sommers arrives in Melbourne following appearances at GEGEN x PRNCPTL, Rave the Planet, Redline Chicago, FURTHUR Festival and Klubnacht at Gewölbe, alongside performances at some of the world’s most respected electronic music institutions. Based in Berlin since 2018, Sarah has built a distinctive reputation for high-energy, hardware-only live sets, combining techno, bass music, electro and ’90s rave influences with her collection of self-customised pink synthesizers and machines. Her Planet Pink universe has taken her to Tresor, Berghain, RSO, OHM and Fabric, as well as ADE, Fusion Festival, Body Movements, Homobloc and festivals and clubs across Europe, the USA and beyond. Sarah has shared lineups with artists including KiNK and DJ ASS TITS, with further appearances alongside some of electronic music’s most adventurous live and club artists. Her upcoming Berlin appearances also include LittleBig alongside KiNK, JakoJako, Plaid, Skee Mask and Randomer. Known for her immersive soundscapes that seamlessly traverse House, Techno, Breaks, and Ambient textures, Lask delivers high-energy, tactile performances utilizing an array of hardware. Whether she is driving a dancefloor with deep bass frequencies or weaving intricate, glitch-laden remix textures, Lask stands out as a highly versatile and compelling force in the underground electronic music circuit. bbsanii — the alias of Naarm-based producer and DJ Isabel Samai. Born in Naarm and partially raised in Otavalo, Ecuador, bbsanii's rhythm-focused sound draws from UK, Caribbean and Latin American electronic music, moving freely across genres and BPMs. Active in Naarm's music scene for almost a decade, bbsanii has performed and hosted events across Naarm and Gadigal, including Miscellania, Revolver Upstairs, Chuleo Club, Luna Blessings and Dykotomy, as well as Strawberry Fields and SXSW Sydney. She is also a member of the collective earth², formed with frequent collaborator JUPiTA. Grimus & Teknob— Naarm duo Pierre Proske and Radek Gebicz owned Melbourne's dancefloors in the early 2000s as electro outfit Grimus + Teknob. Now they're back for dancefloor vengeance, bringing their squelchy acid, funky baselines and lashings of 909 acid fuelled energy to the bill. Sophie Forrest — South African-born, Melbourne-based DJ, producer and label owner Sophie Forrest blends techno, electro, jazz and soul. Through her label Body Positive Music, she champions trans, GNC, POC and femme artists. With releases including Potato and Don’t Touch My Booty, Sophie has played across Australia and supported international names including Honey Dijon, Ben UFO, Boris, Roi Perez and DJ Sprinkles.
