Body Type was formed in Sydney in 2016. They have since released their acclaimed sophomore record Expired Candy (2023) and the Australian Prize-nominated debut LP Everything is Dangerous but Nothing’s Surprising (2022) and their latest album Tally was released in July 2026. The band have toured across Europe and the U.K, and have performed support slots for Sleater-Kinney, Foo Fighters, Fontaines D.C, Pixies, Big Thief, Warpaint and Cate Le Bon, among others.
