Since 2017, Nicky's short films Lemon Taste and Fisherman have been recognized at numerous international queer film festivals, including Fringe! Queer London Film Festival, Inside Out LGBTQ+ Film Festival, OUTFEST Film Festival, Oslo Fusion Film Festival, BFI Flare, Chéries Chéris Paris, ASVOFF, and The Queer Archive. Their films explore queer narratives and non-conforming sexualities, blending fiction with mythological impulses through a poetic aesthetic.
