Sonic Resonance opens its Midwest to Brussels fundraising series with an outdoor gathering at AIDS Garden Chicago on September 20. Seven DJs from the Sonic Resonance cohort will soundtrack an easygoing afternoon and evening by the lake, bringing together friends, food, and music for one last warm-weather hang before the season turns. The gathering marks the beginning of our campaign to bring a cohort of Midwest DJs and sound artists to Belgium in 2027 for the third edition of Sonic Resonance, an international study-abroad residency centered on mentorship, artistic development, and building lasting relationships between Midwest and European music communities. Come early, bring something to sit on, and stay awhile. All contributions support participant travel to Belgium.
