10月31日（土）と11月1日（日）の2日間、静岡県のつま恋リゾート彩の郷にて開催される野外フェスティバルFestival de FRUE。2012年のスタート以来、「魂の震える音楽体験」というコンセプトのもと、エレクトロニックミュージックに限らず濃い精神性を携えるミュージシャンを世界各地から招聘してきた。MIDNIGHT EASTでは2年ぶりの開催となるアフターパーティーには、本祭に出演する4組のアーティストがラインナップされた。 O-EASTメインフロアに出演するのは、FRUEの常連アーティストの一人であり、有機的かつサイケデリックな音を紡ぎ出すAcid Pauil。そして今回初来日を果たし、本祭ではライブパフォーマンスを披露するノースカロライナ発のエレクトロポップデュオ・Sylvan EssoがDJセットで登場する。 また東間屋フロアには、南米のパーティー集団Voodoohopの元コアメンバーであり、現在は自身のレーベルUFORDIAを主宰するPeter Powerが、アンデスのケーナ（縦笛）奏者であるDemian Arayaとともに出演。そしてVoodoohopの首謀者であり、スローで呪術的なテクノサウンドで知られるTomashがハイブリッドライブセットをプレイする。 Festival de FRUE is an open-air music festival taking place from 31st October to 1st November at Tsumagoi Resort Sai no Sato in Kakegawa, Shizuoka. Since its launch in 2012, FRUE has brought together musicians from around the world under the concept of “a soul-stirring music experience,” reaching beyond electronic music to embrace artists whose work carries a profound spiritual depth. Returning to MIDNIGHT EAST for the first time in two years, the afterparty will feature four acts from the festival lineup. On the O-EAST main floor, FRUE regular Acid Pauli will weave together his signature organic, psychedelic sounds. North Carolina electropop duo Sylvan Esso, who make their Japan debut with a live performance at the main festival, will perform a DJ set. The AZUMAYA floor will host Peter Power—a former core member of South American party collective Voodoohop who now runs his own label, UFORDIA—will perform alongside Demian Araya, an Andean quena (vertical flute) player.
