GREY BEAVER day rave is coming to KCC on Saturday 14th Nov with absolute bangers all day long from 3-8 pm - & we'll keep at least one room going until 9 if you're still dancing.... James Heselwood of Pulled Up The Bumper fame will be in the main hall playing ALL the good dancing tunes - think Madonna, Prince, Aretha, Daft Punk, The Beastie Boys, Nirvana, Chic, Britney, De La Soul, Chaka Khan, Sean Paul, Beyonce, Run DMC, The Prodigy... Mek Summat's infamous indie disco & Tiny Dog's dirty disco party will take over the back room - the former will cover Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pulp, Blur, The Strokes, B52s, Arctic Monkeys, Wet Leg, The Cure, Le Tigre & more while the latter delve deep with Metro Area, Chicken lips Paranoid London, Roe Deers, Kieran Hebden, Moodyman, John Tejada & more... Bella B will bringing the jazz, soul, afrobeat, hip-hop & more in the cocktail lounge - think Ezra Collective, Nubiyan Twist, Emma Jean Thackrey, Loyle Carner... Speaking of those cocktails - that'll be Shipley Triangle & they'll of course be pouring the pints and prosecco in the bar as well... We were finished, but then got carried away - so you'll find Shane's Singo Bingo kicking things off just after doors, local legend Vic Brett whirling around in a beaver costume (we kid you not) and we've even managed to talk the incredible Sarah Kelly into fixing us up with some decor for the occasion. We're even going to put some grub on for the end of the night so you can soak it all up on the way home.
