Detroit born DJ Ash Lauryn joins us at Paradiso for a special Friday night of house, techno and sounds rooted from Detroit. We’re excited to welcome Ash Lauryn to Paradiso for another special night. Detroit born and Atlanta based Ash Lauryn is an international DJ, curator and cultural voice with deep roots in house and techno. She is best known for Underground & Black, a platform she started as a blog before it grew into an NTS Radio show and event series celebrating the history, culture and people behind black dance music. Since making her DJ debut in 2016, Ash has taken her sound around the world, playing in cities including London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Ibiza, New York, Tokyo, Milan and Lisbon. Her sets draw from the soulful side of house and techno, with a strong connection to Detroit and the roots of the music. Her own music includes the North Atlantic EP with Jimpster and Oveous, as well as the track “Underground & Black”with Kai Alcé. Beyond DJing and producing, Ash continues to build spaces around music and community. In 2025, she launched Mother May I, a family focused day party bringing parents and kids together through music and play.
