Swaul Pope blurs the line between psychedelic folk and alt country. The songs embody both a bold timelessness and a wide spectrum of strange yet charming story-telling. Radiating outward from the corn mecca of Lincoln, Nebraska, his songs contain sharp truths, innocent anthems, and whimsical introspection that will leave everyone asking themselves “what does that mean?” The New York iteration of Forrest Philpot Band began playing together in 2024, bringing the deep south sound to the big city by way of Memphis, the Mississippi Delta, and Pensacola Beach. Forrest's songs blend pop sensibility with country and alternative music, with lines about loving, losing, or leaving laid over the top. The band released sister albums in 2025 and 2026: Sport Luxury Trim and It'll Always Be Good to See You. Sweetbreads is the project of nyc based singer-songwritier Melody Stolpp. Her emotionally rich songs blend indie folk, alt-country, and sharp storytelling into a sound that is distinctly her own. Exploring family dynamics, relationships, anxiety, optimism, and the complicated beauty of life, she writes with empathy, curiosity, and unflinching sincerity. Mert Spalty is a singer/songwriter and prominent player in the independent music scene in New York City. His alt anthems are slick with the sweat of an artist uncaging himself. It just so happens that the outpouring of his fervent candor takes the form of some of the best alt-rock and punk instincts: almost innocently childlike creativity, high-fidelity lines ignored, sanitised mainstream potential kicked aside, reality placed front and centre.
