**Organikka presents: Voilaaa Soundsystem (Live)🌀** Not a DJ set. A sound system. Ten years deep, and still making it up as they go. On 4th of December, VOILAAA SOUND SYSTEM brings its furious, Afro-disco sound system pressure to Organikka for the first time. DJs, MCs, live FX—the whole Notting Hill Carnival format. The core trio is Bruno “Patchworks” Hovart on the decks alongside DJ Freakistan, with Pat Kalla on the mic. Around them, a rotating galaxy of Lyon collaborators. This is a project that started almost by accident and has spent a decade turning into something deliberately uncontainable. As Hovart puts it: “Voilaaa sound system ne reproduit rien, il déroule seulement ce qui nous semble juste au moment présent”—it reproduces nothing, it just rolls with whatever feels right in the moment. People come for a specific track and don't get it. That's the game. The records are the foundation: On te l’avait dit and its follow-ups revived the 1970s spirit of Lagos and Abidjan with a modern, DIY touch. But the live show is an “unpredictable outgrowth” of the records—a separate living thing built on improvisation and sweat.
