“Tower,” L1NH’s debut album set to release on November 13th, is a periodic reflection of collective uncertainty, grief, and cultural endurance. The project begins with 13 minutes of ambient, noise, trip-hop, and tarab-inspired arrangements, followed by 15 minutes of experimental club tracks, with a notably attempted dabke arrangement. Starting with an L1NH’s opening set and album introduction, the event will segue to the afterparty, with a lineup featuring Nymph, Lychee, Zara Dekho, and Ali IRL. Nymph is an emerging force in Brooklyn’s techno scene, known for her unapologetic sets and instinct for engaging rhythms. With a passion for techno, she delivers high-energy selections that keep the dance floor moving from start to finish. Lychee is a thoughtful, bubbly fixture in the rave world. A colorful and perpetually exploratory DJ and event organizer, they manifest underground energy with a magical, scintillating take on technoid psychedelia and relentless, meaningful inquiry. A voracious reader and writer, they ever-thoughtfully explore human experience and interconnectedness through words, soundwaves, and the expansive, wobbling pulse of the dancefloor. Zara Dekho is a Brooklyn-based DJ and curator, born and raised in Karachi. She is the co-runner of Rare Frequency Transmissions and co-founder of Tarka Project. Her genre-defying sets move fluidly across house, techno, percussive club, and bass, weaving together infectious rhythms and hypnotic grooves. Drawing inspiration from her ancestry and love for the underground, as well as club music. Zara Dekho builds sets that feel both expansive and grounded in movement. With a carefully curated selection and a strong instinct for the dancefloor, she plays the room as much as she plays the decks. ALI IRL is a Brooklyn-based DJ by way of metro Detroit. With a soft spot for intimate dance floors, his sets drift through 80s freestyle, 90s house, gratifying vocals, and retro electro. He’s played dance floors including Good Room, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and Marble Bar. Outside the club, he explores downtempo eclecticism on his monthly radio show Soundcheck on @8ballradio.
