Chicago comes back to Detroit for another night of real house music, real people, and absolutely NO FACADE. This month we’re celebrating our good friend Tim Beats, making the trip from Chicago to celebrate with us at Temple Bar. If you’ve spent any time around the Chicago house scene, you already know Tim brings that unmistakable South Side energy to the dance floor. Tim is part of that important musical bridge between Chicago and Detroit, two cities whose house and techno histories have been intertwined for decades. He’s been a longtime friend and supporter of the Detroit underground, and his connection with Deeper Waters and Detroit Techno Family goes back years. Tim has shared the decks with Deeper Waters at DTF events including the Whose House?! Chicago x Detroit showcase, The Underground Bazaar, and has previously joined us for No Facade at Temple Bar. Expect a night of Chicago house, Detroit house, disco, funk, soulful grooves, and whatever else gets the room moving.
