On 6 November, Ndrx, Hamatsuki and Ninasupsa return to Bassiani alongside Leisure System curator and Berghain resident Sam Barker, who trades strict 4/4 adherence for left-field sound design and rhythmic complexity. Whether performing live solo or DJing with collaborators, he combines bass music, techno, electro, breakbeat, dub, and ambient. Barker debuted Debiasing on Ostgut Ton in 2018, followed by releases including Utility, translating a spectrum of transhumanist ideas, and the mesmerizing record Stochastic Drift. He is one-half of the Barker & Baumecker, DOGPOUND and HOTBOX projects, and his expansive approach to unorthodox musical exploration has led to collaborations with saxophonist Bendik Giske, alongside Speedy J, Rødhåd and Sebastian Mullaert in the shapeshifting improvisational outfits Stoor, WSNWG and Circle of Live. Barker is an instrument designer who combines coding skills with analogue, electric and acoustic instrument construction for his experimental archive and platform Voltek Labs. Call Super is a multidisciplinary artist whose textured sound and curatorial instinct have helped shape the landscape of contemporary electronic music. One of the key DJs behind a renewed focus on UK's turn of the millennium techno and house sound, they have spent the past decade carving out a singular path informed by Detroit’s techno heritage and the UK’s late-1990s and early-2000s house. Their approach transforms these influences into something distinctly their own, treating DJing as a form of editorial storytelling driven by curiosity, experimentation and reinvention. Orion is a Milan-based duo, one of Italy's most intriguing underground acts, whose deep, melancholic sound reflects a philosophy of "techno freedom", moving between intensity and introspection. Skyra returns to Horoom alongside Cynthia Matisse, resident of Triebwerk and member of the FLINTA* collective METAWARE, and Manchester’s finest Willow, a Workshop Records member and a vinyl-only DJ, whose sets move naturally through deep house, stripped-back techno and everything in between, subtle, soulful and always driven by a deep understanding of the dancefloor.
