Some returns are less about revisiting a place than reconnecting with what first made it matter. On Friday 13 November, Unsounds returns to Caracas for an eight-hour session at Powsounds Club, from 22:00 to 06:00. After a period away, the label is back in the city it calls home, gathering around the sounds, people and shared histories that continue to shape its direction. Sampol joins from Barcelona, where he runs Checkpoint, a party series and a driving force within the Catalan underground scene. Returning to Unsounds for a second appearance, he arrives midway through his 2026 South American tour, reuniting with the label for another night in Caracas. .JPG, Unsounds founder, returns to the booth in his hometown with a bag full of records he’s been saving for the right moment, ready to share sounds that have been taking shape in his head for months. Joining him is Rocky, one of Caracas’ exciting emerging talents, making her long-awaited debut with the label. A new voice, a fresh energy, and a name we’re proud to welcome into the Unsounds family. This time, the gathering unfolds at Powsounds Club, on the third floor of Centro Comercial Paseo El Hatillo, inside POW, a streetwear and skate shop woven into Caracas’ alternative scene. While a new setting for Sampol’s return to Unsounds, Powsounds is already familiar territory for the label’s community, having hosted several of its previous gatherings. Powsounds has become a familiar meeting point for the Unsounds community: an intimate room, friendly faces, good music and people who come ready to dance. It’s the kind of place where you can lose yourself in the music, run into old friends and leave having made a few new ones. We’re looking forward to being back.
