A living legend of the UK Drum & Bass scene, FRICTION makes his South Korean debut at UNDERCITY. With over two decades of influence on Drum & Bass, FRICTION is the founder of the iconic labels Shogun Audio and Elevate Records, and a 2011 inductee into the Drum&BassArena Hall of Fame. Recognized alongside pioneers such as Andy C and Goldie as one of the genre's most influential figures, he spent six years hosting BBC Radio 1's iconic Drum & Bass Show, introducing audiences worldwide to the genre's evolving sounds. Since founding Shogun Audio in 2004, FRICTION has played a defining role in shaping the Drum & Bass scene. With tracks such as "Dare" and "Your Love," he has established himself as a formidable producer, while official remixes for Childish Gambino, The Prodigy, Sam Smith, and Fatboy Slim have extended his reach beyond the genre. More recently, his track "Never Know (Love You So)" was named BBC Radio 1's Hottest Record, further cementing his enduring influence. Having performed at some of the world's most renowned festivals, including Glastonbury, Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, and Boomtown, FRICTION is currently embarking on SYNERGY TOUR, his biggest world tour to date.
