On the 18th of September, Jazzie B lands at NT's Loft. Jazzie B grew up around sound system culture and started his own, Jah Rico, at just 13. By 1982 it had become Soul II Soul: The collective whose Sunday nights at Covent Garden's Africa Centre helped define British soul and rare groove. Individually, Jazzie B's career has spanned several decades, holding residencies on Kiss FM and BBC London, whilst producing for greats such as James Brown, Nas and Destiny's child.
