Curtains up with two live sets: @sayonara.sayonara.sayonara , a music triangle coming out of the Spettro-Universe that unites three elements in one box: hypnotic ambient, industrial savana, new age materialism. An unfinished, non-exclusive project, a tasty hybrid for nature lovers with no pretensions of fidelity, in unprotected environments. Up next, all the way from Brussels, Hochiwah (@marsgoodwater ): a sonic exploration and a magical attempt by Mars Goodwater (BE), one half of Pairi Daeza and And The, and the newest member of Parasite Jazz. Drawing on her healing practice as a massage therapist, Hochiwah opens up an intimacy with the outside world, presenting an odd travelogue where self, other and environment glide together, full of sincerity and intuition, cultivating fantasy and playful poetry. Then two DJ sets full of weird gems for unexpected dance moves. We kick off with tundra (@g.iuuuuul.i ), member of @pho_bho_records. Their research is rooted in new wave guts and downtempo depths. By widening the space, they land on tight rhythms with a renewed interest in hybrid melodies halfway between musique concrète, polyriddims, internet muzak, (digital) folklore and post-cumbia. Closing the night is a.certo, alias of @arturas_certovas , a Vilnius-based sonic storyteller. He loves playing everything experimental, spacious and ritualistic: from zoned-out dub to world music, from downtempo rarities to wild tribal, from deep ambient to heavy bass. Expect unusual sounds and tripping balls roaming the park playing with daylight and night shifts.
