The 11th edition of MUTEK.JP, the international festival of electronic music and digital creativity, takes place over four days from November 20–23, 2026, at MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives, a new cultural hub located within TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY in Tokyo. Co-presented with East Japan Railway Company (JR East), this year’s edition marks a new phase in MUTEK.JP’s evolution. Entering its 11th year, MUTEK.JP continues to explore the possibilities of audiovisual expression through the convergence of digital creativity, contemporary art, and technology. This year’s program brings together a selection of groundbreaking audiovisual performances, electronic music, digital art, and new media art by internationally acclaimed artists from Japan and around the world. This year’s edition unfolds around the idea of a new cycle. As MUTEK.JP enters its second decade, a new chapter begins, bringing together a new creative environment, new perspectives, and new possibilities for audiovisual expression.
