On October 24, acid takes over Kilomètre25. Born in Chicago in the mid-1980s, acid house was built around a new sound: the Roland TB-303, with its distorted, repetitive and hypnotic basslines. From Phuture and Acid Tracks to the British rave scene, acid has become one of the founding languages of electronic music. DJ PIERRE: A founding member of Phuture, DJ Pierre is one of the pioneers of acid house. From Chicago, he helped define the genre’s sound with cult productions, including Acid Tracks. DJ JEE: A key figure in the French electronic music scene, DJ Jee moves between acid, techno, house and rave, with an approach deeply focused on the dancefloor. DR. RUBINSTEIN: Known for her intense and eclectic sets, Dr. Rubinstein explores the realms of techno, acid and trance, bringing a particularly infectious energy to the dancefloor. MISS DJAX: Founder of the legendary Djax-Up-Beats label, Miss Djax is a historic figure in European acid and techno. Since the 1980s, she has championed a free and underground vision of electronic music. SARAH SOMMERS: A DJ and producer, Sarah Sommers moves between acid, techno, trance and rave, with sets built around powerful rhythms and hypnotic sounds.
