東京の「ENSITE」と京都の「DEN-EN」が、京都メトロにてコラボレーションパーティーを開催。 東京を拠点に2022年からCIRCUS Tokyoを中心に開催されてきたテクノパーティー「ENSITE」。これまで、FJAAK、Estella Boersma、BLANKA、Rosati、D-Leria、Conceptual、Dax Jなど、海外から本格派のテクノDJを次々と来日させて話題を呼んできた。メンバーそれぞれも都内を中心に多岐にわたる活動を続ける、若手アーティストが手掛けるイベントだ。 関西でも定期的にパーティーを開催しており、今年3月にCIRCUS Osakaで行われた公演では、関西の地においても東京の熱気をそのまま再現し、大きな反響を呼んだ。 そんなENSITEが今回タッグを組むのは、京都を代表するイベントシリーズ「DEN-EN」。これまでDJ Maria.、DJ TOOL、Doltz.、AMORAL、¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U、Takaaki Itoh、DJ SHUFFLEMASTER、Olivia Mendez、Toru Ikemotoなど、世界で歩みを止めないアーティストたちを京都へ招聘してきた実績を持つ。 会場となるのは、京都のカルチャーの発信地・京都メトロだ。 ENSITEからは、多様なインスピレーションから生まれるオリジナルな選曲で途切れないグルーヴをキープするLynta、強いドライヴ感と緻密な選曲でジャンルを横断しながらフロアを導くYui、ダブに根差した空間感覚を軸に有機的な質感と未来的なサウンドを交差させ、深い音像と流動的なグルーヴを重ねながら多次元的な音像を立ち上げるIsshinがラインナップ。 そして、DEN-ENのオーガナイザーであり、京都を中心に活動するテクノDJ／プロデューサーとしてクラシック音楽からインスピレーションを受けた化学反応のようなディープグルーブを操るTUIと、ENSITEのメンバーとしてテクノDJを務めつつ実験的なMIXを多方面で披露し、オーディオビジュアルプロジェクト"GURUGURU"を主催し、オーディオビジュアルアーティストとしても活動するKotaro Shimizuが、B2Bセットを披露する。 Tokyo-based techno party "ENSITE" and Kyoto-based "DEN-EN" are joining forces to host a collaborative party at Kyoto Metro. Launched in 2022 and primarily held at CIRCUS Tokyo, "ENSITE" has generated immense buzz by continuously bringing heavy-hitting international techno DJs to Japan, including FJAAK, Estella Boersma, BLANKA, Rosati, D-Leria, Conceptual, and Dax J. Organized by a collective of young artists who are individually active across various fronts in Tokyo, the event brings a fresh energy to the scene. The crew also holds regular parties in the Kansai region, including a March event at CIRCUS Osaka that successfully replicated Tokyo's raw intensity and drew a massive response. For this edition, ENSITE is teaming up with "DEN-EN," one of Kyoto's leading event series. DEN-EN has a proven track record of inviting world-class, unyielding artists to Kyoto, such as DJ Maria., DJ TOOL, Doltz., AMORAL, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, Takaaki Itoh, DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, Olivia Mendez, and Toru Ikemoto. The venue is Kyoto Metro, a vital hub for local culture. Representing ENSITE are Lynta, who maintains a seamless groove through original selections drawn from diverse inspirations; Yui, who steers the floor across genres with a strong driving feel and meticulous programming; and Isshin, who centers his sound on dub-infused spatial awareness, intersecting organic textures and futuristic soundscapes to build multi-dimensional audio spaces with deep sound images and fluid grooves. Rounding out the lineup is a special B2B set featuring TUI—DEN-EN’s organizer and a Kyoto-based techno DJ and producer known for deep grooves that spark chemical reactions inspired by classical music—alongside Kotaro Shimizu, an ENSITE techno DJ who also showcases experimental mixes across multiple fields and leads the audiovisual project "GURUGURU" as an audiovisual artist.
