DM @builtbymeanred for more information MikeQ (Michael Quattlebaum Jr.) is a Newark, New Jersey-based DJ and producer widely credited as one of the foremost architects of ballroom/vogue house music, the genre built around the New York ballroom scene's runway and vogue battles. He founded the label Qween Beat, which has become a central hub for ballroom producers, and has spent over a decade DJing balls and club nights while also crossing into wider recognition — including production work and collaborations that brought ballroom sounds to a broader audience (notably his work associated with the TV series "Pose" and features with artists outside the scene). He continues to tour internationally, run Qween Beat as a platform for emerging ballroom producers, and is generally regarded as a key bridge between underground ballroom culture and mainstream club and pop music.
