Producer and DJ aya, hailing from Huddersfield, UK, is one of the most compelling voices in contemporary British experimental electronic music. Her 2021 debut album 'im hole' received an 8.2 from Pitchfork and was awarded the publication’s Best New Music designation, earning widespread international critical acclaim. Following her 2024 EP 'Lip Flip', she released her sophomore full-length album 'hexed!' in 2025, which received an impressive 9.0 from Pitchfork and was included in the publication’s Year-End Best Albums list. Expanding her sonic universe through genre-defying production, aya has built a global presence with an NTS Radio residency and performances at major platforms and festivals like CTM. Beyond her studio work, she continues to push boundaries through her dynamic DJ sets and live performances. This event marks aya’s Seoul debut, presented by MUSHROOM HOUSE—a party series curated and hosted by HYPNOSIS THERAPY. Connecting underground artists with club culture, MUSHROOM HOUSE is a project dedicated to introducing diverse global and local musical movements to Seoul’s club scene. Having hosted artists across a wide spectrum of sounds and performances, MUSHROOM HOUSE now brings the vanguard of contemporary UK experimental electronic music to Seoul with aya.
