Young Stunners are among the defining voices of contemporary South Asian hip-hop. Formed in Karachi in 2012 by Talha Anjum and Talhah Yunus, the duo has helped transform Urdu rap from an underground movement into a powerful force in Pakistan’s mainstream music culture and across the South Asian diaspora. Moving effortlessly between Urdu and English, they blend intricate lyricism, sharp social observation and contemporary production to create music that feels both deeply local and universally relatable. Early releases like Burger-e-Karachi brought an irreverent, distinctly Pakistani perspective to rap, while later songs such as Gumaan, Afsanay, Laga Reh and Why showcased their range, from hard-hitting verses to emotionally vulnerable songwriting.
