Kurumbu is bringing that taste of home to Amsterdam once again! This time we've got Firungi (US), Junior Simba (UK) and ANSWER (IND). Three artists coming from different corners of the world, meeting somewhere between deep grooves, house, Afro rhythms, tech house and percussion. Firungi has been making serious waves with his productions, picking up Beatport support and building a catalogue that moves between house, Afro rhythms and deeper club sounds. His tracks have been landing in sets and on dancefloors around the world. Junior Simba has had quite the run. A Beatport Next artist with BBC Radio 1 support, bringing together his Zimbabwean roots with Atro rhythms, house and Uk dance music. His recent releases have been getting proper radio play and turning up across dancefloors in the UK and beyond. And ANSWER, the Bangalore duo who have been shaping India's electronic scene for years. Over 1,000 shows, a Boiler Room in Hyderabad and a catalogue of deep, hypnotic house music that has taken them well beyond India. They were also due to play Circoloco Mumbai, alongside Chris Stussy, Mau P, Jamback, Michael Bibi and Marco Carola, before the event was halted. Mumbai missed out. Amsterdam gets them instead.
