Ignez is a Dutch techno artist whose distinctive sound draws inspiration from the raw, natural landscapes of the Netherlands’ coastline. Blending hypnotic rhythms, deep grooves and atmospheric textures, his productions and DJ sets explore the space between dark, driving energy and emotive, ethereal soundscapes. Influenced by Amsterdam’s legendary Trouw club, Ignez developed his craft through an early residency before establishing himself as a compelling figure in contemporary underground techno. His carefully curated selections combine forgotten records with forward-thinking productions, creating immersive, stripped-back journeys on the dancefloor. As the founder of Somov Records, Ignez has cultivated a platform for his artistic vision, releasing music that reflects his unmistakable sonic identity. His acclaimed collaborations with Rodhåd and debut album Tides on Token further cemented his reputation within the international techno scene. With a sound that is both deeply introspective and powerfully physical, Ignez continues to bring his hypnotic approach to clubs and festivals around the world. Hybrid co-founder FUAM and Kryptik Cork Boss Hooligan open up proceedings in the basement. Not to be missed!
