CHICAGO HOUSE New Year's Eve: Robert Owens & KC Wray

2026-12-31
21:00:00 - 06:00:00
Tausend, Berlin

The last night of the year belongs to house. Robert Owens and KC Wray join us at Bar Tausend for a New Year’s Eve celebration connecting Chicago’s musical heritage with Berlin’s nightlife. Soulful records, jacking rhythms and a room full of people ready to dance into 2027. Robert Owens is one of the defining voices of house music. As a member of Fingers Inc. alongside Larry Heard and Ron Wilson, he helped shape the sound of Chicago house and its lasting connection between electronic rhythm and human emotion. His voice runs through classics including “I’ll Be Your Friend,” “Bring Down the Walls” and “Tears,” the collaboration with Frankie Knuckles and Satoshi Tomiie that remains a landmark of vocal house. His work continues to connect generations through collaborations with artists including Masters At Work, Ron Trent and Jamie Jones. KC Wray brings his own connection between Chicago and Berlin. A DJ and producer shaped by both cities, he combines swinging rhythms, soulful influences and a direct feel for the dancefloor. His involvement in Chicago’s house community includes helping relaunch The Warehouse as an event series alongside Robert Williams, carrying its musical history into new settings. Through Shake Shop Records with K’Alexi, plus releases on Brobot Records and KULTUR, he brings that commitment to house culture into his studio work, too. For this night, the celebration goes beyond the countdown. Gather your friends beneath the mirrored ceiling, raise a glass and welcome the new year with music that gives you a reason to stay on the floor.
