HANA 001 · The First Bloom 音が華開く場所。 — Where sound blooms. 華 HANA is a new electronic music series founded by DJ Yukari, celebrating the beauty of sound, movement and self-expression. Rooted in Japanese aesthetics and inspired by rave culture, HANA puts Asian and FLINTA artists at the forefront, creating dancefloors where grace meets intensity. For its debut edition, HANA takes over Not For Sale Gallery in Hackney Wick for a six-hour journey through electronic sound. Expect a progression from breakbeat rhythms into driving techno and peak-time intensity, before settling into a deeper, hypnotic close. Each set builds on the last, creating one continuous musical journey from beginning to end. The name comes from 華 (hana), a Japanese character symbolising flowers, beauty, brilliance and flourishing. HANA celebrates individuality, artistic expression and the freedom to flourish, both on and beyond the dancefloor.
