Part of Theatreship's guest nights - where contemporary artists take over the ship to highlight the stories they want to tell. Here's some more info from them: Cross.currents is a long-form ambient experiment at Theatreship. It is an amorphous musical space where melodies and thoughts wash in and out - a slow wave of sonic transport for a much deserved Sunday splay down, sketch-book and long tea by your side. This evening opens with distinct individual voices gathering towards an inexorable, pulsing whole. Witness as melodic flotsam washes up and coalesce into an amalgous symphony. Featured are the serrated shoegaze spread of Knee Gnaw’s violin, the rhythmic propulsion from the cello of August Cooke and guest musicians, all re-orchestrated live by inbuilt obsolescence.
