**A very special in the round show to celebrate Hank's anticipated debut album 'Hero Weak Thing'** \---- With two stellar EPs (Twist Grip and Spiralic) and a brilliant live show, Hank’s staunch DIY approach and melodic knack has captured hearts. “One of the capital’s most exciting outfits,” - Hard of Hearing “Their songs are begging to be heard live, for both their danceability and all encompassing sound,” - Nina Protocol 2026 has been busy, playing shows with the likes of green star, Mother Soki, Pollyfromthedirt and Sorry plus making their Primavera debut. The spring was spent writing and recording in TEETH Studios with producer Jamie Neville (Mark William Lewis, PVA). Working in blocks of time, they used in between moments to announce and sell out last-minute headline shows to try out the new material. Mastered by Kevin Vanbergen (Pixies, Lush), the result is debut album Hero Weak Thing, a record where Hank carve their own spot. A distillation of their diverse make-up, the dissonance, rawness and soaring guitars of their early work excitingly continue to run riot. Diluting nothing, they pull up the scene they’ve grown from, harnessing challenge and absorbing myriad influences to make their own. With cover art by notable Serbian painter Marko Obradović and having been primed by singles ‘Claryn’s Song’, ‘Crashing 8’ and ‘Tell The Leaves Not To Turn’, Hero Weak Thing is gloriously noisy.
