The first (and only) Motion Ward label night in LA this year is happening on October 15th. Lavurn (aka Cassius Select) will be making his LA debut following the release of his record “Baby It Cold Outside” from earlier this year on the label. We’ve also got Sta Dormida coming up from San Diego to perform live. Her new band with Gustav Kemps just released their debut single on Motion Ward and blush via 7” lathe cut last month. Local family Dovecot will be joining us as well and will perform a live set centered around his recent self released album “pocket phonics”. JS will be playing tunes to buffer the sets before and after. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This will be a space for listening, so if you want to chat with others (which ofc we encourage), please do it outside. Be gentle with each other, you never know what someone is going through. See you soon xoxo
