KOIKOI are one of Southeast Europe’s most exciting emerging acts, blending indie rock, post-punk and electronic elements into intense, emotionally charged live performances. Since releasing their debut album *Calls Aside*, the Belgrade-based band have played more than 180 shows across 17 European countries, appearing at festivals including Fusion, EXIT, InMusic, Eurosonic Noorderslag and Reeperbahn Festival. At Eurosonic 2023, they were nominated for the Music Moves Europe Awards, recognising them among Europe’s most promising emerging artists. In 2025, KOIKOI opened for Fontaines D.C. in Belgrade and released their second album, *On Happiness in Dreams*, which received widespread acclaim across the Western Balkans, while its singles received international support including airplay on KEXP. Following a sold-out 1,500-capacity headline show in Belgrade, the band continue their international rise in 2026 with appearances at Sziget, Pohoda, Electric Castle, Sea Star, Sofia Live and Iceland Airwaves.
