**Mind’s Eye** is a band that is driven by atmosphere and emotion. Blending shimmering guitars, textured synth layers, and lyricism that tackles themes of intimacy and insecurity in love, the Los Angeles outfit crafts songs that feel both intimate and expansive. Their sound moves fluidly between dreamy indie, moody alternative rock, and moments of raw, stripped-back vulnerability. On their most recent release Mind’s Eye trades some of their trademark sentimentality for raw energy. Across only six tracks, “RUN LIKE HELL” has breakdowns, spoken word segments, ripping lead guitar lines, and even a goth club banger. All this is to say that the project sees Mind’s Eye explore previously unbroken sonic ground. Despite this cutting-edge sound, the band effortlessly maintains the catchy pop-sensibility that fans have grown to expect from a Mind’s Eye record.
