Back in March, the system_failure crew brought a 9-foot-tall speaker stack to our favorite sun-lit dance space for an afternoon of coffee, bagels, and DnB. We are back with an even-more-massive soundsystem, a special guest DJ who is sure to shake the floor, and an otherworldly transition from afternoon into darkness to round out your Sunday. Inspired by Baltimore club, Croydon dubstep, the Paradise Garage's heritage of Afro-Latin rhythms, she conjures up her own sense of space and time, through cycles of rhythm. The Noise Pollution Ticket and system_failure sound engineers are on double duty, taking turns running the system and behind the decks. Expect jungle of many flavors and bassy sonic explorations to open and close the portal. Our venue for this party, the North American Indian Center of Boston, is an Alcohol-free community space. Please respect this by not bringing any alcohol, or yourself in an intoxicated state. An ambient/chillout cafe room will be your downstairs respite from the powerful soundsystem, should you need it.
