KAJE (Pronounced Kah Juh) The name KAJE derives from the Balinese word Kaja which meants North. However, It is more than just a point on the compass, Kaja refers to the sacred northern direction pointing toward the mountains and the home of the gods. We are moving away from the crowded coastal areas to create an elevated music escape in the central highlands. For this inaugural edition, we are intentionally keeping numbers limited to connect Bali’s deep cultural heritage with the island’s independent creative subculture, bringing together artists, musicians, and DJs for this gathering. The Space The event takes place across 18 hectares of open highland terrain. Expect cool, crisp air as well as panoramic views with the three mountain peaks as your backdrop. With only 48 boutique rooms on site, the estate becomes a fully immersive, close knit village for the weekend, completely isolated from the usual tourist crowds. The Experience We are offering a direct alternative to large festival formats. The focus here is straightforward: a minimalist aesthetic, quality sound, and exceptional selectors, curating a space built for genuine community interaction. We started this project to cut through the noise, connect with what is important, and feature the best of what this magical island has to offer. A deeper, more meaningful way to experience a party on the Island of the Gods. Phase One Lineup Out Now Our first wave features a heavyweight lineup of local resident DJs we believe are doing great things for the Bali scene, alongside regional powerhouse DJs who continue to represent Asia on the world stage. Expect more DJs, visual artists, and food vendors to be announced in Phase Two. See you in the mountains.
