This year’s Próximamente is closing out caliente! Gelatina and Próximamente Festival are thrilled to join forces for this edition’s closing party! Get ready for a night of electrifying sounds with four artists bringing their unique take on Latin American club music. Born in Barranquilla and shaped by experiences across South America and Montréal, our special guest RICO RICA bridges ancestral influences rooted in Caribbean picó culture with contemporary club sounds. Guaracha, champeta, dembow, reggaeton, and experimental electronic music blend and collide, creating a sound that is both deeply rooted and forward-thinking. MALDITA VAINA is a Dominican-Sudanese, trans non-binary DJ who uses music and sound to create counter-narratives, using movement as a way to preserve and celebrate BIPOC stories and histories often left unwritten. SHILITA is a French-Colombian artist who has developed a powerful hybrid sonic identity, blending Colombian sounds with explosive electronic rhythms such as guaracha, Latin-core, and baile funk. RICKY CORAZÓN is a Brussels-based Chilean DJ and founder of Gelatina. Through his eclectic sets, he takes dancers on a sonic journey across Latin American rhythms, from cumbia and guaracha to Latin house, tribal, neoperreo, dembow, and beyond. And if that wasn't enough, Air Europa, the official sponsor of Próximamente Festival, will be giving away a free plane ticket to Latin America during the party! Want a chance to win this golden ticket? Join us at KVS BOX on 21 November and dance the night away!
