***Farewell - Show Release*** Marcel Bonfim's Quartet plays original compositions and original arrangements of classical standards from American Jazz to Brazilian instrumental music. On the show Farewell, Marcel introduces us to his world of influence and experiences. Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil but rooted in Chicago since 2015, Bonfim exudes the intriguing combination of both of his musical worlds. In his compositions, he explores the emotions and feelings about leaving his country and family, while simultaneously making new connections, establishing new relationships and discovering new ways to make art. The contrast, contradiction and duality found in each and every life choice we make, are the main source of inspiration for the show.
