Georgian pianist **Lile Emnadze** brings a program of extraordinary emotional range to The CheckOut, from the restless lyricism of Schubert’s Sonata in A minor to the shimmering, mysterious harmonies of Scriabin’s Two Poems. The afternoon culminates in Prokofiev’s monumental Sixth Piano Sonata, a work of ferocious rhythmic energy, biting dissonance, and breathtaking virtuosity, written against the gathering darkness of World War II. Currently pursuing an Artist Diploma at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts, Emnadze has performed at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and Stockholm’s Royal Palace. Don't miss her take on three remarkable works in the intimate setting of The CheckOut. Program Franz Schubert — Piano Sonata in A minor, D. 845, Op. 42 Alexander Scriabin — Two Poems, Op. 32 Sergei Prokofiev — Piano Sonata No. 6 in A major, Op. 82
