Wrong ‘uns…good things come in pairs! Not content with our 5th birthday taking part on just one night, we’re continuing the celebrations for a second time…and this one promises to be very special indeed. On 5th December we have none other than Mytron bringing his infectious, mind-bending and truly incendiary live show to Glasgow for the very first time! All four of us at WPHQ have been spinning Mytron’s tunes for years and had discussed since 2023 getting him to play at one of our birthday events, so having the opportunity to host an extension of our birthday in La Cheetah felt like the perfect chance to present his mesmerising talents to our hungry crowd. Having released on Multi Culti, Bordello A Parigi, Razor-N-Tape, Feines Tier, Invisible Inc and other labels of sound repute it’s a real treat to get him up here to perform a show. Using drum machine, two samplers, synths (a modded XoxBox and a mini-101) and vocoder his take on Moroder-ised acid house and dubbed up electro is guaranteed to make your ears prick up while your feet give you no choice other than to move! Definitely one for the books and you’d be crazy to miss it! A few super cheapo early bird tickets are on sale now! But not many. Get to it and DO IT!
