Time to get extra sweaty for the winter season with our first ever house party. Whatever you do, make SURE it's consensual. -- TRADES. London-based, Global-facing Black Queer club night by Drybabe and Talia Goddess. Our desire is simple: to curate nights where the best DJs we know and discover get to play and party with the best crowd. The soundtrack for each club night explores the vast range of music across the global Black diaspora, such as afro-electronica, dancehall, baile funk, ghetto-tech, hip-hop, UK funky, jungle, GQOM, house, jersey club, and more. -- The Collective. Save the dancefloor collective, an Art and music collective run by elesdj in collaboration with the Rising Sun Collective. Born in response to male-dominated lineups and commercial club nights, our aim is to create safe spaces for women and queer artists to connect, curate, and dance. The sound of the Collective is influenced by London's Underground parties, keeping events off social media and exploring more experimental sounds: footwork, jungle, and tekno. -- 7-10pm: Come early for Rigs & resistance workshop run by @aurorakaratrip co-curator of @lowaacollactive_ A free collage workshop exploring the history of UK sound system culture, its connection to the Windrush generation and its legacy as a tool for resistance. Together, we will build our own Rig through collage, using media from carnival, images from protest, rave flyers, documentary photography from free/squat parties, news articles, etc. ~ free entry before 10pm ~ Powered by E2T2 Soundsystem.
