SHUSH and Shai Space come at music from two sides of the same feeling. SHUSH is about movement: bodies, rhythm and the dancefloor as a place to connect. Shai is about depth and calm: deep listening, soulful records and a room that draws you inward. For one night in Berlin, we’re bringing both under one roof. The night opens with a supper club by Yam with Nam, held in the same building that will be moving a few hours later. From there it splits into two rooms. The main room is for the dancefloor, with DJs and live sets building through the night. The second is our take on the old-school chill-out room, with low lights, a full sound system and music you can sink into. You could catch an extended set from Sassy J, a master of the dancefloor, then step next door to Lovie, a selector who can make a whole room lean in and listen. Most nights make you choose. This one doesn’t.
