JOHAN GIELEN returns to Bratislava after 17 years! On Saturday, December 5th, 2026, we’ll welcome one of the true legends of the global trance scene to Ear-Gasmic for the very first time – Johan Gielen! Johan has been one of the most prominent names in trance music for more than two decades. As a producer, he is behind projects such as Airscape and Svenson & Gielen, while his name is closely associated with trance classics including L'Esperanza, The Beauty of Silence, Twisted and Beachbreeze (Remember The Summer). And this is certainly not just a trip down memory lane to the golden era of trance. Johan remains highly active as a producer today, regularly delivering new music both under his own name and through his Airscape project. During his set at Ear-Gasmic in Bratislava, you can look forward to a combination of the very best from his extensive career – legendary Johan Gielen / Airscape productions, his latest music, as well as plenty of other timeless trance classics that have shaped generations of trance fans. The legendary Trance Energy events have also been an inseparable part of Johan’s career, where he became one of the most iconic faces and long-time residents of this cult brand. He performed at more than 15 Trance Energy events, and his long-standing association with the brand earned him the unofficial nickname “Mr. Trance Energy.” That’s exactly why we decided to give our December club night the fitting subtitle: “TRANCE ENERGY EDITION”. His return also carries a special meaning for us. Johan Gielen last performed in Bratislava in 2009 – the very same year Ear-Gasmic was founded. After 17 long years, our paths will finally cross.
