Dead Letter No.9, New York

Summer nights are still going strong, and we’re bringing nearly 10 hours of nonstop music across two rooms. Come early for live music, grab a cocktail, hang on the patio, and stay late. Starting at 6:30PM in the Foyer, Vereda INTL and Tony Flow set the tone with free live music ;Afro-Latin rhythms, funk, soul, jazz, and warm, dance-floor-ready grooves. Opening CARGO from 10PM–12:30AM is FEMMY Award-winning, Liberian-born DJ and producer Val Fleury. Praised by AfroPunk and NYLON, her energetic Afro-warehouse sets connect house and techno with her West African roots. She’s played from Vegas and Sydney to LA and Berlin, with festival appearances at Coachella, Miami Music Week, and Roots Picnic From 12:30AM–3:30AM, Haitian DJ, producer, and Oyasound founder Sabine Blaizin takes over with Global Soul, house, Afrotech, Afrobeat, and Haitian roots. In the Foyer, Very J plays 9PM–12AM, digging through ’90s New York house and techno, ambient, funk, and unexpected finds. From 12AM–3AM, Miss Gypsy follows with a deep, soulful mix of house, jazz, Latin rhythms, and New York underground sounds. Kitchen open late | 21+
