Orbit Wax is an independent record shop for underground electronic music, and it lives inside a Sense of Place. Percy runs it. He picks the records, he prices them, and on Sundays he plays them. This year Selectors Sunday opens with a guest. From 12:00 to 14:00 Koperblond takes over the shop's catalogue: he walks the Orbit Wax shelves, picks his favourite records from Percy's selection on the spot, and plays them. He played our Selectors Sunday in September and we asked him back for ADE. Expect mostly vinyl and no single genre: deep rhythms and unexpected twists, as he describes his own sets. Anything on the shelves can come out, in-store exclusives from Junction Forest included. 12:00 to 14:00. Koperblond, picking from the Orbit Wax shelves. 14:00 to 16:00. Percy, Orbit Wax, from his own collection. 16:00 to 18:00. HORSEMEN. From 14:00 Percy takes the decks back, this time with his own records: a personal collection built over the past ten years and brought home from all over the world. Forgotten records from the 80s and 90s next to the sounds that still shape Orbit Wax today. In his words, "a glimpse into the musical story behind Orbit Wax." From 16:00 HORSEMEN close the day, a duo based between Berlin and Amsterdam. Orbit Wax met Morlov, one half of the duo, while he was digging through their records at an event. The conversation led to their music, and to this invitation. The Orbit Wax shelves are a few metres from the turntable all day. Listen first, then take one home. Come for one record or stay for the day. Free entry, no reservation. Seated. Coffee is served as on any Sunday. Part of Amsterdam Dance Event 2026.
